I think I have completed my curriculum list for next year. I have almost everything I need. I have been purchasing things over the last few months, because I don’t have a big chunk of money just lying around. Here goes the list. Of course I always add more things that I would love to have, but are not necessary. My wish List is very loooong!
MC 5th grader
Bible: The Bible along with Veritas Press Curriculum and other studies
Math: TeachingTextbooks7
English: Rod and Staff or First Language Lessons (Language Lessons will be a review, but think it is a better fit)
Writing: Writing Strands (Because English is going to be a review I wanted a challenge in writing)
Penmanship: A Reason For Handwriting
Reading: Formal-Rod and Staff Reading finishing up level 4 Informal- following Veritas Press reading list.
Histroy/Geography: Combination of Story of the World and Veritas Press’ OT/Ancient Egypt
Health: Health for the Glory of God
Latin: Finishing up Latina Christiana
Spelling: Finish Spelling Workout (switched half way through this year)
Logic: Mind Benders and Red Herrings. Might purchase a game through Critical Thinking Company
Chinese: Community Class and Rosetta Stone (Grandpa said he would go halvsies with me)
Science: Exploring Creation through Astronomy (we are going to start this summer)
Art: Study of painters mixed with projects in watercolor and sculpting
PE: Taekwondo
3-D 4th Grader

Science: Exploring Creation Through Astronomy
Art: Study of painters and hands on projects that go along with history. Watercolor and sculpting too
Ramona 2nd Grade
Math: Saxon 2
English: First Language Lessons Level 3
Spelling: Spelling Workout C
Writing: A Reason For Handwriting Transition
Reading: Follow Veritas Press reading list
History: combo of Story of the World and Veritas Press OT/ Ancient
Latin: Prima Latina

And of course we are supplementing all our classes with a wonderful fun filled Thursday at our homeschool co-op where the kids have fun with peers and participate in numerous classes.
