Our First Egg

One of our Bantam chickens layed an egg.  We aren’t sure which one, but we are hoping for more:)  We put another egg in its place so the chicky doesn’t think there is a thief out there.  Sometimes they get worried and will stop laying eggs if they think their eggs aren’t safe.  [...]

One of CP’s favorite things to do is water our garden.  We have blueberry bushes, raspberries, strawberries, broccoli, cucumbers, beans, watermelon, corn, tomatoes, and a few other things.  Everything is very young, so we are looking forward to the bounty in the years to come:)
