Happy Birthday CP

My baby has turned 3.  I can’t believe he is already 3.  When you have multiple children, time goes so much faster.
I had to work today and when I was leaving he blocked the door so I couldn’t leave.  Then when I came home, he told me, “I crying.”  I asked him if he was [...]

Character, Character, It’s All About Character

A soccer team-mate of Master C told us about a school carnival last Fri. night, so I told the kids I would take them. Each of the tickets cost $3, so I thought I would get clever and tell the kids that they could earn the $3 ticket while helping me clean the house. The [...]

What Will the Future Look Like If Obama Is Elected?

This letter found on the Focus Action website may seem impossible to some of you, but I think it is a real possibility in the coming years if Obama becomes President.  I don’t think some Christians understand the depth of the issues here.  We are facing a dire situation.  Please read entire letter even though [...]

Dreams Don’t Lie

I have been working two part time jobs for the last month or so and my kids are feeling the difference in how much attention I am able to give them.
Ramona told me about a dream she had last night and it just breaks my heart that even in her subconscious she is feeling neglected.
She [...]

Wonderful Boys

As I walked through the door this evening my nose picked up a waft of something cooking.  The boys greeted me with big smiles on their faces and led me to the kitchen.
They stood in front of the table in the kitchen and parted just enough for me to feast my eyes on a chocolate [...]

Ramona’s New Rabbit Silky

Another one bites the dust.
Master C came in a few weeks ago with a horrible look on his face.  He motioned for me to come to my bedroom and then shut the door behind us.  He sat on the bed and said, “you know what I’m going to say don’t you?”  Fear traveled through my [...]

Tye Dye

Just after school began our neighbor got all the stuff ready for my kids and her grandson to do tyedye shirts.  They had a blast!  Too bad she forgot the part of setting the dye.  We had to dispose of all the shirts.  But nonetheless, they had a great time enjoying the process.
