"Pleasant Words Are A Honeycomb…"

The kiddos have been having trouble using “honeycomb” words with each other lately, so we did a little scripture reading on the subject and a little project this morning.

Proverbs 16:24 says,

“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

Each of them really enjoyed drawing sweet treats around the edge of our paper. Not wanting to be left out CP got in and drew a little scribble at the bottom. Then we filled in the middle with “sweet” words that we could use with each other. (this idea was from “The family Worship Bible” Broadman and Holman.)

Our day wasn’t really filled with any more sweet words than usual, but it is a process to be sure!!!
