A Teaspoon?

The kids and I were having a conversation about nationalities tonight at the dinner table.  We were eating spaghetti and Master C loves to twist his spaghetti with a fork and spoon.  He said he didn’t know why he liked doing it that way and I told him it was because he was 1/8th Italian.  I told the kids they were 1/2 Japanese, 1/8 Italian, some Swiss, some English, and some other things.  Ramona asked if she was 1/2 Swiss.  I said no and then she said, “a whole?”  I said, “no.”

Then she said with a questioning voice, “a teaspoon?”  I laughed at that one.  I guess it fits when you think of the term “melting pot” people use to describe our nation.  Too funny.
